I’m Tianran Zhang (张天然), currently an MPhil student in the ROAS Thrust at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), advised by Prof. Haoang Li. Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beihang University.

I’m looking for a PhD position starting in Fall 2027.

Focus: Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, Reinforcement Learning for robots and Manipulation.
